Mission: Global Outreach

In addition to our local mission efforts and our Shared Support of Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) overseas mission work our Heritage family directly supports a number of international mission efforts to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to other nations.

Shepherd Project (Mexico Mission)

Mexico Mission Trips

For nine years, Heritage has partnered with Faith Ministry and the town of Miguel Aleman, Mexico, to provide housing, educational assistance and brotherly love to the families of this small border town. This partnership used to culminate in a summer mission trip each year, but due to the unfortunate violence currently in Mexico, our support in 2010 changed to one of long distance financial and prayer support. This year Heritage provided scholarships that enabled 8 children (6 girls and 2 boys) to attend school. Funding for these scholarships came from money raised for that purpose during our summer Vacation Bible School (56%) and from the Mexico Mission budget line. Heritage continued its support to the Mission Church in Miguel Aleman by sending $500 a month from August through December for a total of $2,500. It is our fervent prayer that it will one day be safe enough for us to return to our regular mission trips to Miguel Aleman.
