Reverend Holly K. Davis

Holly Davis was born in Alexandria VA to Gordon and Mary Alice Keller. She has one brother, Daron Keller, also of Alexandria. It was Holly's privilege of growing up under the teaching of Dr. Richard C. Halverson at Fourth Presbyterian Church.

After graduating from T.C. Williams High School, Holly attended Taylor University in Indiana and then transferred and graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. After serving a year in Christian mission at a guest house in rural England, Holly returned and soon married then 1Lt Van Davis, a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. At their wedding, Dr. Halverson commissioned Van and Holly to serve as "missionaries to the military."

God's assignments included Texas, Guam, New York, New Hampshire, Nebraska, and Virginia. Following retirement from the Air Force, Van and Holly moved to St. Louis, Missouri where Van began to work for The Boeing Co.

Holly's work in the church includes serving in military chapels, ministering as a chaplain intern at a home for mentally disabled and speaking and teaching in a variety of settings. Holly earned her Masters of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in 2005. She was ordained and began her first call as minister of Word and Sacrament at Dardenne Presbyterian Church the same year.

Holly and Van moved to Alexandria in July 2007 for Van's new position with The Boeing Co. They have two children. Keller Davis is 24 years old and lives in Grand Rapids, MI, where he works as a software developer for Gospel Communications. Margery Davis, 22, is a graduate student in International Development at Eastern University near Philadelphia, PA.

Holly enjoys living in Old Town, painting landscapes, reading theology, people of all varieties, and a good cup of tea.
