Special Lecture Series

Now through November 20, 2011 - Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

Typically twice a year, Heritage's Discipleship Committee invites a guest lecturer to teach a series of classes at Heritage either on Sunday morning or in an evening class.

Dr. Bruce Douglass

One of our favorite guests is Dr. R. Bruce Douglass, an associate professor of government and political theory at Georgetown University and Director of the Reformed Institute of Metropolitan Washington. In addition to politics Dr. Douglass is an expert on reformed Christianity in America. His most recent series was Reformed Christians in America: Building the New Nation, and covered the period from the late 1700's through the Civil War. Dr. Douglass's courses are always well attended and we happy to have him back again this Fall.

Dr. Douglass has returned to teach us about our reformed historical and spiritual heritage, as the ongoing saga of Presbyterians in America. Please come Sunday mornings, through November 20 at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
