Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church
Dates: January 30, 2012 - March 5, 2012
Pastor Teng leads a new 6-week video series that began on January 30, "Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church," based on a book with the same title by N.T. Wright. Even if you miss a class or two you're still encouraged to join the group for as many sessions as you can. Bishop Wright is one of the world's top biblical scholars, a prolific author and Bishop of Durham in the Church of England. Together we will explore questions such as: What is heaven really like? Is our main duty as Christians simply to help non-Christians get into heaven? What hope does the gospel hold for this present life? In what ways does God intend for us to experience that hope personally and spread its healing power to the world around us? Classes will be held in the Library from 7:30-8:30 pm.

Awestruck! Relating to God
The pastors led a series from the Psalms in Spring 2011 entitled Awestruck: Relating to God. Are you awestruck in God's presence?
During Lent 2011, the pastors taught a wonderful six-week series on The Prodigal God: Recovering the Heart of the Christian Faith by Timothy Keller. A few copies of the books and workbooks remain and may be purchased in the church office for $10 and $5 respectively.
