Heritage Presbyterian Women (HPW)
Heritage Presbyterian Women includes ALL women at Heritage and is guided by the HPW Coordinating Team. The purpose of this organization is to nurture faith through prayer and Bible study; to support the mission of the church worldwide; to work for justice and peace; and, to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom. In service, HPW supports Meals on Wheels on a monthly basis, the annual Salvation Army Angel Tree, as well as various local shelters and the Women's Jail Ministry at the Alexandria Jail. To learn more about how to become a part of HPW, contact the church Office at 703-360-9546.

Made By the Bell Crafters & Annual Christmas Boutique – On the third Thursday of every month, the women of the church meet in the library to create everything from Christmas placemats to knitted wonders to the very popular Heritage Bean Soup. Anyone can participate – no prior experience or special talent is necessary. The culmination of all this wonderful work is the Annual Christmas Boutique on December 2, 5:00-8:00pm and December 3, 9:00-3:00pm. The Boutique is HPW's primary fundraiser, and all proceeds are dedicated to women's and children's ministries.- Community Puppet Show – HPW sponsors a community puppet show every spring. The price of admission is free. It's nice to bring a plate of cookies to share with friends, family and community. The puppet show is an event for young and old, and everyone in between!
