WHAT’S UP?
You’re invited to jump into our great Fall Quarter of Christian Education classes!

September 7th – Christian Education Kick-Off

Come and celebrate the beginning of a new class year with a kick-off celebration at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Children Pre-K through 5th grade will participate in some serious fun! Class registration, crafts, music, food, a sneak peek of what to expect in your class this fall, and prizes!

Don’t forget to stay for the 11 a.m. Worship service and the annual Church Picnic that follows.

GUESS WHAT?
This Fall our 9:30 a.m. children’s classes begin with a slightly different format using KidConnection curriculum. It includes some fresh elements – just enough to keep you wondering!

Our lead teachers are:

  • Jenny Kennedy – Pre-K through 3rd grade (Rooms 1 & 2)
  • Kari Ann McDonald – Grades 4 & 5 (Room 4)
  • Dean Kern – Grades 6-8 (Room 6)

Children In Worship (Rooms 1 & 2)

This is a wonderful ministry that teaches children (4 years through 3rd grade) about God through worship, reflection and activities during the 11 a.m. service. Children attend the worship service with their families through the Children's Time, then may be excused to this special time designed to experientially teach them about God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Christian calendar, the elements of worship, and offers them an opportunity to respond and participate in each lesson. Leaders: Sara Sams and Kristen McSwain

HEY YOUTH!

What a great year you’re going to have! Mr. Dean Kern leads your Sunday morning class each week at 9:30 a.m.. As Super Heroes, be prepared for some extreme challenges! Grades 6-8. (Room 6)

SO WHAT?

So, please know you are invited – no matter what your age! How do we reach out to a broken world if we are not built up in Christ, rooted and grounded in his Word? As disciples we should long to know Christ and make Him known.
